Current World Open 1-Wall doubles champion with Tony Roberts; Waterford Crystal World singles and doubles champion; doubles finalist in USHA national championships in 2006, 2007; many time 1-Wall big ball open doubles champion or finalist.

Willie is one of the top ranked 1-wall players in both big ball and small ball in the US. He has competed and played extensively internationally.

      Howie is a member of the USHA Board of Directors, the 1-wall commissioner and member USHA Hall of Fame

      He has been a US national champion or runner-up in 1, 3, and 4-wall handball 40 times, 26 of them in his career as an open player which spanned 4 different decades. He finished in the finals of the national AAU 1-wall open doubles in 1957 at age 18, and won his last championship in 1980, at age 41
